Met de hulp van Steunfonds Pictoright heb ik de foto-serie ‘I am Nature’ kunnen uitbreiden.

Voor de nieuwe inrichting van de kantine van voetbalvereniging Avanti, was ik gevraagd om o.a. een mooi concept de voor de bijna 12 meter lang wand in de kantine.

Energetische bloemenvelden

Als voorbereiding op een privé voedselbos in Schijndel dat eind dit jaar op een akker van 1 ha aangelegd zal worden, heb ik op deze akker allemaal eenjarige kruiden en bloemen gezaaid in een tekening gebaseerd op de flower of life. Hiermee geven we de bodem niet alleen voedingstoffen die het nodig heeft, maar vitaliseren tevens we de grond met het symbool van de flower of life.

Uit deze energetische bloemenvelden, plukken we mooie veldboeketten en bloemknoppen en blaadjes voor energetische kruidentheeën. Als de bloemen uitgebloeid zijn verzamelen we alle zaden om zo nog meer energetische bloemenvelden te kunnen maken, zodat er op meerdere plekken Flowers of Life kunnen gaan bloeien.

During the Dutch Design Week (20th – 28th of october), I will be presenting a series of photographic works named I am Nature!

Nature is the source of our everything.
Every product, design and idea finds it’s origin in nature.
Nature is reflected throughout Mariëlle’s work as a photographer and designer.
It is important to show and teach about the necessity to preserve nature.
We have to know how to live with nature again.

After all………………….we are nature!

De bloemen op de afbeeldingen worden verwerkt in zelfgemaakte gezondheids- en cosmetischeproducten. Hierover binnenkort ook meer!

Dit prachtig gelegen paviljoen, mocht ik afgelopen week in opdracht fotograferen.

The exhibition Asia in Amsterdam was styled by Kiki Van Eijk and Joost van Bleiswijk. The walls are small paintings of up to 30cm, made by Kiki. I  photographed these paintings very precise and photoshopped all photographs together into 10 different wallpapers. The final result was increased 100 times. The end result was very impressive!
